well i got back into it today
eith a 30 min session on the treadmill- 3.3km walked with heart rate of 148 max and 133 avg, followed be 3 sets of 20 situps heart rate 130 and 1 set of 10 pushups follwed by 10mins on a zen chi Relaxerciser which is a wonderful way to cool down, as it relaxes the body. felt great being able to do the exercise attacking it again tomorrow for another cardio session with a body work out with weights

Good to hear Chris,
It's a real bumber getting laid up from exercise, especially when your getting somewhere. I'm getting a bad case of shin splints...think I'll see har far I can push it.

Bet you will be glad when your into your next workout as you say. Stats are sound good...keeep up the good work...give it another two days, and it will be as if you never had a break

Hi Chris glad to see you are back on the treadmill you are walking faster than me, but I bet my legs are shorter because I only get 2.5 k's done in 35 mins, but I feel glad I have done it when its over but its a battle of wills not to get on the thing but I refuse to be beaten
Pam

Keep up the good work

thanks guys for the encouragment with it all...
pam the treadmill will only beat you if you let it most people use there gym equipment at one time or another for a clothes hanger. and not what they bought if for...i know my treadmill can sit idle for a couple of weeks with no use but, it happens as my job is physically hard some days and the last thing you want to do is more exercise.. but this time round i am making myself do it when i don't fell like. i guess you can say it's mind over matter if you don't mind it don't matter

Good to see you are feeling better and back into your exercising. Hopefully making yourself do it will turn into looking forward to doing it at some stage. The fact that I now enjoy exercising is still a big source of amusement for me....I was a major couch potato before dropping this weight.

I looked up the zen chi Relaxerciser as I had never heard of it. Does it really work?

i find it help with relaxing after work and i use it mainly after exercise it helps with the soreness in the legs and moves the toxins out of the calf muscle (so i have been told) and the next morning i don't have to put up with sore legs
