You are doing great Pam. As to the exercise, yeah, I feel you will have to do it forever. But personally I now think everyone should. Not because of the weightloss but because it is so good for your body. I thought I would cut back my exercise when I got to maintenance but I haven’t. I simply enjoy it so much now and it truly is a habit that even one day off feels strange.

Don't stress about the posting, you can only do what you can do.

Keep up the great work. :D

Just reporting in, have had my so here from Melbourne, Daniel is my youngest he is 28, my baby and he has given me lots of problems over the years, the marriage breakup did not help him either, but it looks like he is coming good, anyway we have had a great weekend, and he goes back to Melbourne early tomorrow morning, I have only missed one days exercise but I can honestly say I have not eaten any junk food but have had the odd extra glass of wine and my dinner plates have been fuller, so I am giving the scales a miss till next week I really don't think I have done any damage but why tempt fate and make myself miserable, I have made my treadmill steeper, and by hec I can feel the difference.
Have a great week everyone and I hope to be posting regularly soon, oh btw the porn this morning was the worst ever yuk

Glad you had a good time with your kid Pam...sometimes I wonder how things will pan out when my oldest hits home base. I too am trying to skip peeking at the scales every bloody day. It sure can get disheartning at times. I've still been having the acasional beer, but am for ever trying to put it off for two to three weeks.

Just keep trying your best as they say. Your sounding aok...I hope you can build on that...Keep it up & best of luck Pam

Hi Pam,

How are you? Just wondering how everything is going for you... A while ago you said that you were going to catch up to me... How's it coming along? I love a bit of healthy competition!

Best wishes,
Lauren.

I noticed from Pam's ticker that she's dropped another kilo and is adding more and more distance to her daily treadmill walks, so I'd say she's going great guns :D

Hi Girls thanks for bringing my topic up and motivating me into adding to it, yes I have lost another kilo but it could have been so much better, I have some real binges including a big bar on Chocolate I bought it on Wednesday at work and just eat it over two days I was such a weak slob I knew I should have thrown it in the bin but thought what the hell I will eat it, and the amount of food and the wine I have been consuming has crept up, I think my saving grace has been my treadmill I am now doing 50 mins a day and using my abcruncher every day I think that is what it is called, to try and get rid of my jelly belly, in myself I feel better my clothes fit better but with working full time and the exercise I am so tired, I don't seem to have time to do some of the things on my PC like I used too, I do love those 50 minutes on the treadmill though watching my favorite shows that I tape during the day off foxtel.
I have set myself a target of getting into double figures by the end of September its going to be a big goal but thats my challenge if I manage I am going to go and see my kids in Melbourne and I know I won't be embarrassed at how hard it is to get my seat belt fastened, onwards to the 80's I will take a trip tp Perth to see my ex mother in law and onto the 70's I will go to the UK to see my Dad I will have to beg borrow and steal the airfare but I am going to get there.
This weekend I think I will go through all my different sizes of clothes and sort them out for my challenges so I can work out WHEN they will fit me again
Pam
Laurren I am coming after you just listen for little steps

Hey Pam, would you say that to me or anyone else here if we'd posted that in the confession forum? I think you're being too hard on yourself. I think it's great that you are now doing 50mins on the tready. Before it used to be a struggle to get 30mins in, so I think you've come a long way :)

Be kind to yourself :)

congrats on the loss pam!

6kgs is great & i think people usually say that once you've lost 6kg, then you can really start to see a difference? not sure, but your clothes being looser is great news!

i know what you mean about working full time & then exercising. sometimes i'm just too slack to do my exercise cos i get home and feel drained. silly i know because when i do it, i feel so much more energised!

i love your goals and your trip to england sounds like such a justified reward for making it to the 70's!

i can't wait to be saying congrats again at the end of sept when you reach your next goal :D
