Well I have had an up and down week again, but I think I am learning not to throw the hole healthy eating thing out the window if I have one bad day.

Have generally stayed on track, and it has paid off by losing 1.3kg this week. I will hopefully be at my first goal of 76kg for my daughters first birthday. Then my next goal will be 72kg, I know its not a big difference but I think it is keeping me motivated. 72kg is what I was before I got pregnant. Wow that was so long ago......

Looking forward to more weight loss this week.....

Have found a great way of drinking water in this cold weather, I have been drinking cups of hot water and I seem to be drinking my water quoter and I am less hungry, I think because I am staying warm with the water....Will post that on the weight loss talk string.

Cups of hot water? I might give that a go.

At work we have a water filter that dispenses hot and cold water, to make the water a little more tolerable I add some hot water.

Congratulations on the weight loss! 1.3kg in a week is awesome!
Starting Weight: 62kg Current Weight: 55.0kg Goal Weight: 54kg

Goal Reached 22 February 2008, Must get down to 54kg again!

Well another week gone, I am sort of dissappointed I didn't lose any weight this week, but am glad I didn't gain any. Was hoping to be 76kg by the time my daughter was one. She is not one until Friday, so I am going to be extra careful and I may weigh myself again on Friday to see if I cannot get rid of that last 0.5kg.
Had a few dinners out this week so at least I was able to make good enough choices that I didn't gain.

Will post again later in the week and see if those stuburn 0.5kg has gone.......

I know what you mean Bron, making it to those smaller goals can be just as rewarding and especially when you can put events to it. I found this to be really motivating.

Keep up the good work. Hope your daughter has a lovely 1st birthday.

Well my daughters progress has come and gone, had a great weekend of celebrations. Weighed my self on the Sat. instead of the Friday, I didn't want to be down on her birthday if I didn't make it. But when I did weigh in on Sat. at 76.1kg I was supprisingly happy, I though what was 100g.
So hopefully next week I will have well and truly lost enough to be under 76kg. But hubby is starting to notice which is encouraging.

Trying to avoid all of the left over party food....gave away alot for people to take home. I have also frozen it up into single portions so that even if I do have some, I have to defrost it and I will only have one piece not the whole thing. At least that way I am in control, and can have it in moderation.

hey bron glad to hear that you were close to your goal for your daughters birthday :) its always good when people start to notice. great control over the food too! there always seems to be too much food at these types of events hehe. but its better than being too short with food amounts :)

I'm Back

Postby Bron M » Mon Nov 19, 2007 9:36 am

it has been awhile and I have put on a few extra kilo's. My last post I was around 76kg, later that week I fell over and broke my ankle. I have been unable to do even the most basic of things.

I am sort of proud though, after not being able to move, and me eating alot of take away, because I have not been able to shop let alone cook for 9 weeks. I am now only 78.3 kg.

So I am back and looking forward to getting back to walking and losing this weight, and hopefully no more falling over.

Ouch!

Those extra kilos will come off in no time now that you're mobile again.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Ouch indeed! How awful!

You'll get back on track now. Well done for not gaining TOO much weight while you couldn't exercise or shop or cook!
