I reached my first mini goal!

I weighed in at 57.9kg this morning! But honestly, I didnt feel like an eyeshadow. So I went and bought a necklace from Diva. Not a big splurge - it was only 12 dollars lol.

Ive had to be tight with money lately. Ive got fathers day coming up.. we're getting my dad a new phone.


Im not counting calories anymore!

It makes me WAY to stressed. I am just going to watch what I eat, and concentrate on exercise. I also need to eat a little more, and more fruits and vegies.

brekkie: oats with raspberries and honey

Lunch: turkey, salad, egg and cranberry sauce sandwich on wholemeal bread YUMMO

Snacks: fun sized maltesers
Apple
Banana
Starburst Fruit Chews (i know BAD!)

And tonight I will just have a good portion of whatever mum cooks.

Im pretty stoked about the weight loss, I am about halfway to my goal. I reckon I can get to at least 55kg by October 7. Thats 6 weeks away. So I have 6 weeks to lose 2.9kg. I can do that EASY I reckon. Thats 0.5kg loss per week abouts. Might even be able to get to 54kg.

well done ella :) what an achievement. even though you didnt get the eyeshadow at least you got yourself something which is great :) i know what you mean about watching your money, its like for us too this time of year.

its onwards and 'downwards' with the scales now ella :) in regards to not counting calories then you dont have to, just do what you feel most comfortable doing and we will support you all the way

Im going to try eating more organic foods, lots of fresh fruits and vegies - stuff that makes me feel good.

I am trying this out for a week! And then seeing how I feel on Monday.

Today I have eaten...

Oats with honey

Banana

Dried Fruit and Nuts

Turkey Sandwich (turkey, lettuce, curried egg and cranberry sauce)

And this afternoon I will have another piece of fruit!
For dinner unprocessed meat and some vegies.

I think I will be more relaxed if I dont count the calories. Oh well.. see how we go!

I laybuyed some shoes for my second mini goal (56kg!)

Ooooooooooh i think they're pretty!

I had 2 fantales and 2 mini redskins... didnt have an apple but had a few grapes (tasted like crap), so i might have a small milo with light milk at 4:30pm.

Hi Loveat116,

What is the principle behind 'Burn the fat, feed the muscle'? Have you been following the principles to lose your weight?

The shoes are lovely by the way, what colour did you pick? They would look great with a baby doll dress.

It is written by the body builder, Tom Venuto, and its not so much a diet or anything. Its a 360or so page e-book, and tells you A LOT about why diets dont work, and how fat loss actually works. you can findout more info here htttp://www.burnthefat.com

Food Today
7:40am - Oats with Honey
8:45am - Milo with light milk
11:00am - Banana
1:30pm - Teryaki Sushi
4:00pm - Apple
7:00pm - Chicken Breast with Vegies.

I had SUCH a bad day yesterday :(

mmm for dinner last night we had pasta bake :( but I only had a very small portion so I am happy with myself. My boyfriend is carb cycling, and he can eat as many carbs as he wants yesterday, so we decided pasta! Yummo.

i also had 1/2 slice of carrot cake... wasnt too good, but i usually eat way more than that at dinner time.

TODAY WOOT!
It is 21 degrees outside yay! But it looks kinda windy... so i might eat lunch outside today.

brekkie: Oats with 1/2 light milk 1/2 water + honey
Glass of water

Snacks: Banana and apple

Lunch: Turkey sandwich w/lettuce, curried egg, cranberry sauce.

Dinner: TBA

I reckon i'll get to the gym BEFORE dinner. Yes. I will do 60 minutes of cardio, come home and go for a walk with mum.

I have to get back on track, I havent exercised AT ALL this week. Ive had a few problems though (car breaking down, alex being over), but I still could have gone for a walk!

Anyway. Im gonna fix it now. And i hope to be 57.5kg next monday :D

OMG. It was soooo embarassing. My engine stopped IN PEAK TRAFFIC! I had to pull into the grassy bit in the middle of the highway and wait for my mechanic uncle to tow my car.

AND it cost $240 to replace the miniature part!

Yes stress I didnt need :(

Pasta bake is probably my fave food :D

Well. Update.
I haven't eaten fast food in 6 weeks

WHOA! I have NEVER gone that long without fast food!

At lunch today I went and sat down on the grass in St Davids Park (biggest park in the city). And ate my sandwich and read Harry Potter. It was SO NICE AND SUNNY!!! I really want to get some colour back into me. As a kid I was SO brown. My family comes from southern italy - so its in my genes. But in recent years ive become too self concious to go to the beach... but this summer I will be looking HOT!

Yes I will be looking mighty fine :D

nothing like sitting in the sunshine to read your book- esp harry potter! you will be looking great with a tan ella :) and well done on not having fast food!

well the funny thing is, I dont crave it or want it! And I am very happy about that...

A tan would be great! Makes you look slimmer aswell...
