nope nothing due around here I think its just my head telling me its nearly the weekend and I always eat sooo badly on the weekends. Im trying to only allow myself 1 day a week off the diet and I picked sunday this week because Im working sat.

My day of diet involves sharing a bottle of wine with hubby over dinner and having a nice indulgant dessert, and probably more carbs thasn I usually have on my good days. The plan is that it stops me feeling deprived but keeps me on track :!:

I love wooden floors, they make a home look so elegant.

My old home was a 2 story Queenslander and when the ex and I renovated it we pulled all the carpeting off and got the floors polished a rich Mahogany colour. *Wipe tear* I miss my old place; my whole apartment is the size of my old kitchen. But anyway enough melancholy on my behalf, just a warning if you have pets, make sure they are well trained and don't do any number 1's on the wooden floors otherwise you'll have problems. I learnt that the hard way, my cat is an indoor cat and is very fussy with his litter, if he's used it once he won't use it again until it's cleaned, or when he was ignored he would misbehave by doing his business outside the powder room door, the floor boards lifted. We had to get someone to come in and fix it (replaced the board, had to sand all of downstairs to repaint, other wise it would've been uneven). It was a very expensive mistake to learn and the insurance company did not cover it (so 5K went down the drain).

Anyway enjoy your knew floors. Also the bottle of wine and decadent dessert your going to share with hubby.

Nope no guilt here!! A girls gotta have 1 day off a week to indulge 8) I enjoyed every minute of it.
Your house sounds lovely, I love those old queenslanders I stayed in one when I was holidaying there a few years ago and it was beautiful.
I spent the morning at jungle gym with my son-its a shame parents cant go on all the equipment there because it could be quite a workout for me jumping on the trampolines and swinging from ropes- someone should open a indoorplayground that parents and kids can use so mums can get a workout while kids play!!

Well not a brillant time at the specialist appointment yesterday, as the doc was asking me questions about Ri it dawned on me where he was heading with his questioning AUTISM, Ive been aware that he has had some unusal traits for a while as well as his speech delay but when all his behaviour was put together it seemed so obvious that he is autistic, Our next step is to be assessed by a speech therapist and a psyc which even in the private system will take me months to get an appointment. Im glad Im getting somewhere with a diagosis but it just feels so final and Im heart broken that my babe is going to have so many struggles before him,

Oh wow, I'm really sorry to hear the news, Jody :( All the best for him, I'm sure he will be fine with you by his side - how can he go wrong then?! :) It sounds like a long and drawn out process, I feel for you for having to go through that :( Hang in there and if you need anyone to talk to, we're all here for you!
