Progress 2

Postby princesspoodle » Sun Aug 19, 2007 1:29 am

Hi Ally, KimE

Thanks for your encouragement. I have a couple of ideas...I enjoy exercise anyway so my plan is to try and get out 3 or 4 times per week walking (fast) with my boyfriend (who also plans to lose some weight and can't run). So the exercise shouldn't be too difficult.

The eating is the part I struggle with...I want to get in to healthy habits. I often eat just because I cant think of anything else to do! I also eat big meals...so the plan is to stick to 3 healthy (balanced, sized) meals per day and try to snack on fruit and yoghurt. I hate losing the energy to do things because I am losing weight.

It looks good on paper, but putting it all into practice whilst working and having a social life will be the hard part!

How did you guys get this far? Any tips?

Cheers pp

Good luck PP, sounds like a plan. My only advice is even if it's only for a few weeks, tally up your calories. It can give you a big insight into how much you are really eating and great for seeing trends and ways to reduce caloric consumption.

OK, Hi All,

I weighed myself today and it is all good. I am down 1.8kg ahh the joys of the first wek of dieting. The difficulty now is to keep going, Keep exercising and (even in the rain) and keep being sensible.

I always find it difficult to be strong when my boyfriend is not (about eating anyway!).

So here is to another loss this week!!

Ohhhh its that day of the week again...

Postby princesspoodle » Tue Aug 28, 2007 7:35 am

OK so it is weigh in day tomorrow and I have not been very good this last week. It was mainly the weekend, we tend to go out for dinner on the weekends, and my willpower is fairly well...non existant...so the result is that I overeat. I have every excuse under the sun...but I think that I just have to be a little bit more...well disciplined. On the positive side I have done regular exercise, eaten lots of fruit and veg and drank lots of water...so I guess I shouldn't be too down on myself. So....I will let you know how I get on!!

Hi Kath. We do tend to focus on the negative and forget about all the hard work... so you might be pleasantly suprised by your weigh in :) Good luck!
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Poodles update(last 2 weeks)

Postby princesspoodle » Wed Sep 05, 2007 6:14 pm

Hi!!

Sorry about last week. I put my weight in the weigh in section...instead of the progress section!! Anway last week was 75 on the nose and this week is 74.5 so another loss YAY. I think it was more this week...but it is almost that time of the month (sorry maybe too much information) and I feel a bit bloated and yucky. I will be looking foreward to a bigger loss next week.

I hope you all had a good week.

Postby princesspoodle » Thu Oct 11, 2007 4:21 am

Hi all,

It has been ages since I have posted...but I am still around. I have been really busy with loads of visitors. Amazingly I have still been going in the right direction, but I have some good motivation! Visiting my family in 3 short months time!!

I hope that the rest of you are doing OK too.
