New Diary! Fresh Start!

This is officially my "4kg to go Diary"!

The title comes from the TV show "The Mighty Boosh". I recomend it to all!

My Stats:
Current Weight: 58kg
Goal Weight: 54kg
Goal Weight Loss Per Week: 0.5-1.0kg
Mini Goal #1: 56.0kg (get shoes off laybuy :D )
Weight Loss Goal Date: 7 October
Thats 5 weeks to lose 4kg... not sure how realistic that is

Weight Loss Strategy

EXERCISE:
I MUST DO: 5x40 Minute Walks Per Week
I MUST DO: 3xWeight Training Per Week
I MUST DO: 4xGym Sessions Per Week 40-60 Minutes

DIET:
I MUST NOT: Go over 1600 calories a day
I MUST: Eat oatmeal every day for brekkie
I MUST NOT: Snack at work on lollies
I MUST: Eat 2 servings of fruit per day
I MUST: Eat 5 servings of vegies per day
I MUST: Eat 4 Dinners consisting of steamed food only
I MUST NOT: Ever use oil, butter, fatty condiments or dressings

Reward for Reaching Goal:
Shopping Spree! Hopefully size 8's!
AND a spray on fake tan, pedicure and manicure

Reward for staying at maitenance level for 2 months:
Hair cut and styled!

I have been bad lately, I have been snacking heaps at night and through the day, and I felt like I am not in control. I also have slacked off with my exercise. I am at a pivotal half way point, and I want to push through this.

Brekkie: Oats with Honey
Lunch: 2x Tofu Sushi Rolls + Soy Sauce + Coke Zero
Dinner: 2 Taco Shells + Mince + Lettuce + Taco Sauce
Snacks:
Food Rating for Today: 8/10 if things go right. I probably only should have had one sushi roll. At least I will stay full until dinner I hope. Taco's are OK i suppose, just a one off treat.

Exercise: 20 Minute Walk to and From Work
30 Minute Walk at lunch
Exercise Rating for Today: 5/10. I didn't do my morning walk, and I probably wont squeeze any exercise in with Alex tonight.

Emotions: Today has been good! I am always in a good mood when the sun is out! I have been very productive at work, and it has been very interesting so thats good.
Happy Rating for Today: 9/10

I have to do this now cause I have a lot of work to do! I am feeling a tad uncomfortably full from the sushi, but its OK. I didnt snack this morning! I only had a hot tea woot! Very proud of myself.

Will report back tomorrow :D

Update on Yesterday.

Last night I had 2 hard tacos and 1 soft taco, they were kinda small and only added up to 2000KJ!

I also had a few snakes in the car... :oops:

Me and the boyfriend had a really really big fight last night, I said some really horrible stuff that wasnt even true and he left. I drove and found him, took so much convincing to get him to come home. I think we're both over it though now, i certainly am. Emotions always feel so charged at night! I all thought it was pretty stupid in the morning.

So we didn't get to sleep till about 1:30am, so I am feeling pretty tired. I packed a hard taco and a soft taco for lunch today.

In my lunch break I am also going down to the gym in town and doing some weights. Havent been there for ages so I hope my card still works! Update on food later.

Just remember to never go to bed angry. :) i try that with the hubby, and i never miss an 'i love you' i think we say it like 5 times a day or more ha ha overkill!

meh snakes are great :) u deserved them hehe

and yay for weights :) makes ya feel strong :)

Yeah guys are censored heads, but me and alex usually get along really well. Its our 15 month anniversary today :D hehe lame.

Things I have to change in order to lose weight
* Drink more water!
* Exercise every day, I have no excuse not to, I have a treadmill at home!
* Do weights 3 times a week! I can go in my lunch break
* Not snack so often at night - didnt last night woot!
* Stop emotionally eating, figure out why i do it

I have a treaddy at home too :) its great to listen to music while walking.

i have started taking a 1.5L water bottle to work, and sipping on it when i m hungry and all through my day, it works best when its in sight so i see it :) my goal each day is to finish it before i go home.

you could try what someone else said in a post, brush your teeth after dinner and then see if that stops you snacking :p

I might try the teeth brushing thing after dinner, I should do it straight away anyway!

I just went to the gym. Did 3 sets of 12 reps of about 5 of the machines. I did 3 sets of 12 leg ups and 3 sets of 15 crunches.
Also did free weights, 4kg weights, 3 sets of 3 types of moves.

haha I really cant explain it. 8 minute walk to the gym, 8 minute walk back.

Just had my tacos! Im going with 1200kj each! eek thats a lot.

NEW REWARD FOR GOAL WOOOOOT!!!

When I reach my second mini goal of 56kg I am getting a deluxe spa pedicure!. So that my feet will look all nice and pretty in my new shoes!

Im taking my mum with me too, just a little present for her as well. My skin is SO dry on my feet, and my heels are all hard and rank. And I have 2 calluses on my toes, so i think they can get those off!

Costs $65 per person eesh! But it goes for 60 minutes and you also get a leg massage!
