Im hoping for a decrease in body fat %

decrease in body fat? doesn't that equate to a gain in weight, just because you'll be more toned?

No not always, I could lose body fat and not gain any muscle, so my body weight would go down.

I think its basically impossible to lose body fat and gain muscle at the same time?

For dinner last night I had 6 chicken nuggets and a sweet and sour sauce.

I also had a few pieces of licorice and a mint slice biscuit.

This morning I took 2 appetite suppresants - Just to see what happens. I know I shouldnt, but I feel like my eating is out of control, and being on the pill doesnt make that any better.

BREAKFAST:
1/3 Oats
2/3 Cup Water
1/5 Cup Milk Light
Tbsp Honey
I am going to be just having water and a dash of milk in my oats from now on

LUNCH:
Having lunch with a friend in town, might get a salad.

DINNER:
A friend is coming over, so dunno what we're having.

EXERCISE:
Going for a walk with a friend tonight.

Im going to get my bike fixed on Saturday, so when i move out i'll be able to ride everywhere..

You can, the processes are different. If you are doing cardio, that will help burn fat as cardio needs energy to burn. But you can aso be building or strenthening muscle as you exercise (you know how you et sore and then get used t it??) which requires protein to construct.

End result, you lose fat and tone muscle at the same time. Or at least that's how I understand it....any PT's want to comment?
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

I'm not a PT, but that (what you said Butterfly_Dawn) is what my PTs (i have 3) told me.

Anyway why wouldn't you want to gain or tone muscle? A decrease in body fat does not equate to a slim body. I would prefer a slightly heavier but skinnier body over a lighter body with no tone :) Just my 2c.

Oh no I do want to retain/tone muscle.

But its possible to lose body fat and NOT gain any muscle thats all I was saying. I have always been told I wont bulk up or gain muscle unless I am in a calorie surplus. But as you lose body fat your muscles become more defined. I want that lol!

And having more muscle means your metabolism increases!

So yes I want to retain my muscle and strengthen them (or tone), but I have been told I probably wont GAIN muscle.

ANYWAY. Today!

Ceasar Salad Roll for lunch!

I laybuyed a pair of jeans from Country Road, size 4. What the heck? They're jeans sizes are way off lol. They were 50% off!

LOVE LOVE LOVE country road (i'm a VIP) :-)

I'm glad they actually do size 4s because they're actually more like a largish 6. Vanity sizing is shocking these days :?

You're lucky you got those 4s btw, most of them get snapped up in a number of days (that's how come most people don't know they make them) hehe
