the loss was awesome! i can understand the being greedy thing tho - especially when it was more last time but i know by now you'll have rationalised it & will be happy with the loss!

i love reading your thread lauren, you always make me want to get off my butt and do something :)

I'll try not to be too soppy...

I just found out that my cousin's wedding will no longer be in April. He will be deployed overseas (he is in the army) - so it has been postponed to an unknown date.

That was my big day...

I'm scared that I will lose track of the 'light at the end of the tunnel' now.

I know I won't... As I never start something I won't finish - but that enormous fear is still there. I've come so far... And that wedding was the day I show off all of my hard work.

I promise I won't give up... But I'll probably shed a tear or two tonight!

Oh hun i can imagine thats dissappointing news for you. If your like me you'd have day dreamed of the comments and looking and feeling great. But all is not lost sweets, what if you set another goal or aim, is there another event coming up you can aim for? Or even better, stick to the same date, buy the wayne cooper dress you wanted and go somewhere special like a fancy restaurant or hit the town, have a party!!! Get all your mates together and have a Lauren made goal party, hey it could be even better because you wouldnt have to share the limelight with a bride! LOL

You'll be fine, you have so much determination i dont see you quitting at all! :D And im sorry to hear he is being deployed overseas, i'll bet your cousin is quite upset too.

Aww... thanks Shel. You are the kindest! Your words most definitely put a smile on my face... Thank you. You always seem to know the right words to say!!!

I have to admit... I have the best boyfriend in the world! I just told Jye about the wedding being postponed... And he has set a new goal for me - going to Vanuatu with him in June/July. He said that is an even better goal... 'Cos I'll be wearing a bikini!!! *HE WISHES!!!*.

It's such a shame that my goal has had to change... But I'm a fighter!!!

Thanks again, Shelley!

I hope your cousin stays safe in the army too!!

i totally understand your disappointment lauren :( but jye has come through again! he is totally gets it, doesn't he? :)

i agree with shel though, even without the holiday i don't think there is any way you would have lost your motivation - your dedication has been spot on so far and by now you are so far into your new lifestyle that i don't think you'll ever go back.

sorry to hear about your cousin as well.

35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

uh hun I know how disappointing that must seem. That day has been programmed into you as your big reveal day. Sweets you are so motivated and dedicated to reaching 70kgs you will get there and Shel does have a great idea. Have a party just for you as your unveiling party on the day the wedding was to take place. Still get your Wayne Cooper dress and still work hard towards it.

Awww Jye has come up triumphs again :D He is such a sweet heart Lauren, so special to do something so wonderful. That sounds like awesome and definitely visualise yourself wearing a bikini I can so see you getting there hun.

Have a great weekend mwah.
