My 5 Week Journey To Goal!

[center]5 Weeks - 2.6kg to go![/center]

I'm starting a new thread, my 3 weeks is up and I got under my goal weight of 57kg! Very happy :lol:

So these next 5 weeks will be about eating healthy - not counting calories - keeping active, weight training and experimenting with new types of exercise!

MEEEEEE!
Starting Weight: 62kg
Current Weight: 56.6kg
Weight Loss To Date: 5.4kg
Goal Weight: 54.0kg
Weight to Lose: 2.6kg
Goal Weight Loss Per Week: 0.5-0.8kg per week

DAY PLAN:

6:30am: Light Exercise or stretching
9:00am: Breakfast - Muesli or Oatmeal, with fruit or yoghurt.
10:00am: Morning Coffee
1:00pm: Lunch. Something low fat. Toasted cheese and tuna sandwich, salad roll, chicken salad, soup.
4:00pm: Snack. Hummus with carrot sticks, Caramel Le Rice, Piece of fruit, yoghurt, slice of cheese, a milo.
6:30pm: Dinner. Just focusing on NOT having a big portion size.
7:00pm: Cardio at gym, or weight training.
8:00pm: A snack, paddle pop or something like that.

Im not going to deprive myself of special treats. Like tomorrow im bringing cake into work and im going to have a piece! It will be my morning snack hehe. If I deprive myself I binge.

Obviously I wont be exercising twice a day, or even once a day. I want to squeeze in 3 weight training sessions a week, 4 cardio sessions and try to stretch or do yoga/pilates/meditation every morning.

With my cardio, Im going to be doing 30 minutes of running interval training, with 30 second sprints @ 13km/hour. ALWAYS stretch after a workout - I want to be able to do the splits again! I would also like to try NEW ways to exercise, like yoga and pilates. And I also want to try doing some meditation, to alleviate stress.

I CANT WAIT until I get to goal weight, and its not long now! After I get down to 54kg I want to work on a maitenance plan - for life.

I went shopping today and bought some clothes. Pair of pants, size 8, skirt, size 8, trackpants, XS, jeans, size 4, skirt, size 8, dress, size small. Its not a big difference, going from a size ten to a size 8, but im happy with myself :)

So after the 5 weeks - 12 November - I will have some awesome before and after shots for you!

And then on the 18 November 2007 I will be doing the half marathon up the biggest bloody mountain in Hobart lol. Goal - To finish under the time limit!

Monday 8 October:

I had the day off today!
I had a piece of raisin toast for breakfast, with butter and an OJ.
I went into town and bought some clothes and a few belts.. I met my mum for lunch and got butter chicken - no not the best choice, but I hardly ever have it. I came home and watched some OC, then went out and got my cakes to take into work tomorrow! I got a MASSIVE marble cheesecake, and a small white chocolate mud cake. Should be sooooooooo yummy.

For dinner I had some veggies all mushed up, and a small bowl of stirfry. Then went to the gym and did 60 minutes of cardio. Came home and stretched.

Next weigh in is Sunday 14 October
Goal Weight: 56.0kg

Im off to clean up my room and go to sleep after a hot tea!

hey ella congrats on being under goal!! woohoo, u rock girlie!! i'm sure you can do this one too, keep going with all your hard work and u'll be at goal before u know it! :wink: glad you had a good birthday :D

I just got back from the doctors, had to get my second guardacil injection. OUCH!

Just munchin on a piece of birthday cake!

Today I have eaten:

Guardian Cereal with low fat milk for brekkie

Some lollies

Piece of cake

Not sure what im going to have for lunch, might walk down to town and get a sandwich.

Thanks! I CANT wait till I am at goal, it is soooo close now!

I would just like to maintain this week, it was a biggish loss last week, i just hope I dont gain anything!

Yesterdays Dinner: Ravioli Pasta with Tomato Based Sauce

Yesterdays Snack: 2 Tbsp Low Fat Vanilla Yoghurt.

Wednesday 10 October 2007

Brekkie:
1/2 Cup Muesli, 2 Tbsp Yoghurt, 1/3 Cup Milk

Lunch:
Leftover ravioli with tomato based sauce

Snacks:
Banana
100grams yoghurt

Dinner:
TBA

Didnt get to the gym last night, will go tonight.
Im thinking doing a 20 minute run, alternating between 8.5km/hour for 3 minutes then a minute on 12km/hour, i'll have a 2 minute walk in the middle of the 20 minutes too - or i'll die!

Then 10 minutes on the XTrainer
20 Minute Walk on 5% incline

Then stretch for 15 minutes.

I watched 'Zodiac' last night, based on a true story of this serial killer who sends codes to big papers in San Francisco and all this other stuff, and its kinda creepy but was interesting.

I have 'The Last Kiss' to watch tonight after the gym, with Zach Braff, I love Zach Braff... heheh

Just sipping on a coffee at the moment, yummo.

lots of water Ella! Flush out all that food!!

Some uni friends had their guardacil injections recently (the second one) and they all said it hurt too. I had mine a while back and it was fine :?

But the nurse that did mine was telling me that they use the second size up needle, warm the serum to room temp and give you sugar which apparently studies showed reduced the pain side effects. None of my friends had this treatment so maybe that was it?
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

yeah well the first injection I got a lolly! And they warmed the needle and put some alcohol on it before they put the injection in.

The second time, no lolly or alcohol and there was heaps of blood!

Im onto the water Tegan, had like 7 glasses this afternoon

Yeah he did it but there was no evidence, and that robert guy didnt receive anymore anonymouse phone calls after he died.

I just couldnt remember who he was in the movie lol, poo.
