Nathans Increase ? I'm not buying muscle....

Postby Karnak » Fri Apr 17, 2009 1:08 pm

Anyone buying that he "put on muscle" ?. Sorry but I'm not. He's been working out intensely for weeks now, he's already got pretty established well muscles !. My research tells me that muscle gain is generally restricted to mere 100- 300grams per week not MORE than 1kilo. Also it's a lot more than 1kilo as one would assume he should of LOST 1 kilo so with a gain is more likely 2+Kilos.

Water level's I can buy but even that doesn't explain the gain, for me it's gotta be that his food is off ?.

Anyone else have any theories ?.

Considering their weigh-in's aren't actually weekly as they like to pretend, it's possible that this gain was over 2 or 3 weeks.

Muscle ways more than fat. I'm surprised they always get high losses! They do heaps of weight training.

Ive also read that even doing alot of weight training 5 days a week you wont gain more than 200-300 grams of muscle, they starve themselves so they lose the weight!

I think you mean muscle is denser than fat - a kilo of fat = a kilo of muscle, but the kilo of fat will take up more space than muscle :P
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...
