I lived in Ireland for a year, and they get really annoyed when people call Halloween an "american" tradition - it originated in Ireland! And they get right into it too, with bonfires and trick or treating and the rest!

I actually knew this...and that's now a completely different tradition IMHO to the American one as far as I know. As per usual, pagan traditions mutated (e.g. Easter and Christmas were hybridised also between the Christian traditions of Christ's birth and death/ressurection and the pagan traditions of winter solstice and fertility traditions) Now I think even Christmas and Easter are no longer the traditions they were. They all seem to have turned into commercialised consumer fests. Bah Humbug

LOL at this whole topic! u guys are hilarious. Me n my bestie dressed up and went trick or treating once, we never tricked though. Some dude chased us down the road in a cape, another guy gave us a satanic 'devil' stick with a crystal on the top and weirded carvings (which we were made to take back) and another old woman (who the neighbourhood kids thought was a witch) chased us and called us devil worshippers.

But we did get a few lollies/bikkies. The funny thing is we lived in rather a nice neighbourhood. The cults must have liked it there too :P

I went to JT last night for halloween ;) im in lurrvveee

I like the look of stubble, but it hurts when you kiss them!

Joel had a goatee thing when I first met him, it was kinda cute but it hurt when we kissed so I put my foot down and he's cleanshaven now! lol

yeah i know i love the look of it. It depends on whether its soft stubble or really hard stubble. I always end up with a red rash lookin thing - very attractive. Wild hair and a red chin LOL
