I have tried but because I have had overdues on the cards most companies wont touch me.

2 of my cards a low rate ones anyway.

The thing that sucks is Billy is paid really well, but he can't be included in a loan with me as he doesn't have permanent residency yet.

money sucks.....

Livin in a world that's oh so fast
Gotta make your money last
Learn from the past, oh

Erykah Badu has fantastic lyrics. She's a genius. Anyway as for monthly pay dude i so couldn't handle that. I'd be all up on the shopping spree!!!

My friend gets paid monthly and she hates it. I think what you suggested earlier about putting part in the transfer account and transferring some out each week would be the best way.

I use excell to make sure everything's paid up - i don't have any credit cards (dangerous!! im a shoppaholic) but i do support a few charities monthly and have a phone bill so i do myself a budget - i know i have to put in $60 per week to cover Direct Debits, so i always make sure thats in there. Try actually writing everything down, and then work out from there where your pay should go (ie, $100-groceries, $50 - spending etc) then you can allocate funds everywhere and you know where your monies going. Its the only way i can survive :P

I pay everything with B Pay where possible even childcare, it save lugging the kids to the post office to pay for bills or to the bank.

I'd love to be debt free!!

The thing that makes us the maddest is we have a home on 1 acre in the US with a $500 month mortgage, meanwhile we are here in Aus paying $1400 a month on rent.

silly huh!!
