I've had 4 jobs this year!! So I'd say career wise its not been a great year!! haha

Also I have stayed pretty much the same weight all year give or take a couple of kilo's.

But my home life is still very good and my marriage is even stronger than ever.

My son is doing really well.

So I guess the important things have been good this year.

Awww Jez I'm sorry you haven't had the best year *hugs*

My year has been pretty good.

For a start I got married in June which pretty much made my year for me :)

Carreer wise I have almost completed the first year of my PhD and I have learn't so much this year. I have also had my first journal article accepted and it is going to be published in May next year whcih I'm very excited about :)

I have also managed to make it an injury free year (touch wood!). 2 years ago I broke my right foot in August and last year I broke the left foot in October so to be injury free is a big deal for me :)

All in all a pretty damn fine year for me.

I've had a pretty non-event kind of year. I was successful in maintaining my weight for most of the year, but that has all fallen apart the last few months. At least I have taken some steps towards resolving my problems with food by going to the psychologist...

What else? I'm still stuck in the same place, career-wise, that I was last year. The only positive that I've done is started some volunteer work, that is progressing well, but just really slowly! So I am a teeeenny little bit closer to the big career change. Maybe next year it will happen!

Done tonnes of personal development especially Tony Robbins' "Unleash the Power Within" and all the things that have followed on from that such as the real estate investing course, and the internet marketing course that I'm doing at the moment. So, I can see plans starting to develop...

So this year I guess has been marking time, waiting, watching, planning.... and unfortunately eating! But that was this year, next year will be a whole different story :D

I've had a roller coaster year. The best of the worst was when my sewerage pipe burst on new years day...that set the tone for the year

Family wise, I've been in and out of hospital & rehab with my sister who was in a car accident last year. Family members have been diagnosed with a few illnesses and Dave had a shocking year with his health.

Career wise, not a good one, Im stuck in a job that I dont like and always missed out on roles that I was well suited to ( I have theories it is weight related - I'd be considered too much of a liability )

Health wise, knock on wood - brilliant, except that I put on my last 10kgs, that I've nearly lost !

Oh and I suppose I got married, I suppose that's gotta be an upper

I am so looking forward to 2008, new year new me :D

Is it bad to not be a high achiever? I mean just want the basics in life and not a high flying job etc?

This is a great post!!!

2007 has been an interesting year.

I turned 21.

I joined a gym - and decided to finally change my health for the better.

I began dating my sweet heart.

I graduated from uni.

Joined Jenny Craig - as I was unsure of what to do with my life (want to be a nutritionist... but wanted to be 100% sure first).

I'm enjoying life!

2007 has been massive!!!!

* I had 3 jobs (well, I start the 3rd on Saturday!) in 3 completely different industries - health & fitness, administration & hospitality/retail

* I finished my Diploma in Remedial Massage

* I got to my goal weight and have maintained for over 6 months now

* I got back in touch with my old best friend, Zoe, and we're catching up for the first time in over a year and a half tomorrow

* My grandfather died and finally set our family free

That's all I can think of so far, but I know there's more!!

I have had THE worst year like you wouldn't believe

My new year began with me being sick as a dog for a week straight I was bed ridden. And no, it was not alcohol self inflicted - just a very nasty bug!

 Major finance troubles with drought (we're on a farm) and loss of income

 Horse flu breakout - loss of income

 We find out that we're infertile...awaiting treatment right now. Been trying to have a baby for 15 months now.

 I had to put my beloved pony down

 Just 2 days ago had to put one of my dogs down under horrific circumstances

 False positive digital pregnancy test

 OH's Mum very ill and in and out of hospital all year

 Major vet bills for dogs, horses, cattle and sheep, all purely out of bad luck

And they're only the things off the top of my head - there are heaps more.

Bring on 2008, 2007 has crushed me so badly...
Saying goodbye to calorie counting AND scales for a while.

Just enjoying the new and improved healthy me and embracing my new lifestyle!
