must admit I don't think I'd been to one since I was their age... many many moons ago but I'd forgotten how entertaining it was... enjoyable evening :)

I went a couple of years ago it was the best circus that I'd been to it was there first time to Australia. One of the acrobates was on some some trick that spins in circles in the air & almost fell off hurt his arm pretty badley most likey broke it, the guy on the ground had to throw him self on the other end of the circle thing to make it stop immedietly. Other than the scare it was awsome to go & see & the kids loved it. If they ever come to Australia again I would deffinately go & see them again.

I hope it was a non-animal circus!!!

I went to one when I was younger and the lions where on so many tranquilisers (sp?) that they could hardly stand.

Oh wow

I remember my daddy used to take us all the time when we were little.

I always used to cry though (I was such a cry baby) I hated seeing the animals treated badly (this was in the mid to late 80's early 90's).

I want to go to Le Cirque du soleil. An acrobatic circus would be awesome to watch

Cirque de soleil is awesome! I saw it a couple of years ago and it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.

yeah unfortunately there were lions... at least one female one looked pretty feisty and almost had the keeper hehe

hadn't thought of that angle... love the animals to be in the wild myslef... when we were in Thailand we went to a proper elephant sanctuary where the elephants basically run wild... are NEVER ridden or beaten with those hooked rods... they had some elephants there that had been brutally treated in the past poor things but have found a true haven now! :)

Years ago when they started protesting abut animals in circuses I couldnt imagine a circus without them. After seeingCirque du Soleil I don't know why you would want them The athelticism of theri peole is absolutely stunning. Look at this...

I agree, Fireball. I grew up in Albury-Wodonga where the Flying Fruit Fly Circus is located (they actually had an annex at the school I went to). After seeing what those kids could do I couldn't understand why anyone would need to see an animal act. Hell, I couldn't even understand why anyone would need adults in a circus!
