i love cooking (probably why i had issues with weight, specially when i was little and always making cakes and muffins and buscuits.)
i like to just go up to the shops a look around, i don't need to be looking for anything in particular just like to go and look around usualyy with someone.
I also love watching certain sports and tormenting my cat (in a good way, you don't need to cal RSPCA)

I love to cook too! Thats the problem. I got 3 new healthy cook books for my birthday so now I can still cook but just stuff that is going to show up on the scales like the other stuff.

I like to paint or draw with charcoals & dance my fav is hip hop or belly dancing but gave up both as I got too big but that is going to change!

I love going to the beach even if it is by myself, its just so peaceful & clears the mind.

I have lots of hobbies:
-Running
-Hockey
-Socialising :D
-Scrapbooking - just gotten into it. I'm scraping a running log with the final picture of me crossing the finishing line of the marathon I'm partaking in. I just have to find more than 10 minutes at a time to put it all together :?. I also want to do one of my weight loss journey
-shopping - who doesn't love to shop :P
-traveling
-taking long drives to the coast
-beach walking
-photography - my SLR travels with me in the boot of my car, along with my running shoes
-Rock climbing
-tennis - I've finally been able to beat my brother in one match
-cooking- i love experimenting with new recipes
-meditating
-listening to soothing & relaxing music
-reading
-getting on this forum :D
-journaling
-addicted to self-help book. Whenever I'm in a book store I walk out with a self help book. Now I'm really getting into metaphysics (which is about universal law, spirituality)
- scouting out new restaurants and bars :D :P
- just hanging out with my friends, whom I've been neglecting

These are the main ones ATM. When I have some more spare time I want to make a patch work quilt. I have the material I need, just need the time and a sewing machine
Start weight - 77kgs

No more weighing, no more scales. My measurement is my success at health. It's an investment I make every single day. My priority: be healthy!

Cooking
Sci-fi (books, TV and films)
Reading non-fiction books about any old interesting topic
Drawing and painting
Computer games (Sims 2, Civilization IV, We love Katamari, Kingdom of Loathing)
Walking
Running
Tormenting the cat

I used to love dancing, but that was years ago when I could afford dance classes! I'm planning on getting back into it. I've ordered an Indian Dance DVD from Ebay. I just hope it doesn't require too much space because I have a tiny lounge-room! And I'm going to get a dance mat for the Playstation 2 dance games. At least I know that the dance steps will be constrained to a small space then!

Love reading, love cooking, love reading about cooking..... watching foodie shows, reading foodie mags. The spouse and I are about to start a Thai cooking course (curries, coconut cream - hmmm, got to find myself a different hobby!)

Also love gardening - although I seem to be better at the planning than the execution. Not so much fun with water restrictions.

I collect Satsuma - which is antique Japanese porcelain/pottery. Really beautiful, detailed painting and gilding - often with brushes with a single hair. Just bought a lovely small vase with geisha as a "congrats on ten year's service at work" present to myself!

Really want to be able to paint, but I suspect I have absolutely no talent - still, a watercolour course would have to be better for the waist line than more cooking courses :D
