not sure about how...but one of my friends is getting it done - around $90-$100 per session & it's going to take approx 6 sessions. that's for her bikini line :)

i sadly was told because i am a blonde it wouldn't work properly for me :(

there's two different types, one where they put a needle into each hair folicle and zap it, and another where they use light laser light (the painless one).

The effectiveness is based on the contrast between your hair colour and your skin colour, ie, black hair with white skin would be effective. because im naturally blonde, there isnt enough contrast :) if that makes sense

thats what i was told neway

i would love to get it done, but it looks so costly. I know they say you save alot of money on razors and that but to be honest i don't spend that much on razors anyway (no i do not let myself look like a cavewomen - and ew i am picturing myself all hairy now)
I would just like the convenience of not having to shave or wax or worry about in grown hairs.

Hey the other night they did a story about laser hair removal (its called IPL and also gets rid of pigmentation) on A Current Afair, and they showed these women who had been scarred and severely burned by it. I was thinking of having it done until i saw it, i would only trust a doctor to use a laser on my body after watching it. There is a danger in letting a beauty therapist do it to you that actually has no idea how it really works, like a doctor or dermatologist would! :|

There are different types of lasers.
I was having SPL (square Pulse Laser) every 6 weeks for over a year.
i was told my hair and skin type would be perfect ( light skin dark hair).
but after all those treatment at $110 a go, my hair is thiner but is still all there.
I had my underarms and bikini done.
It doesnt hurt as much as waxing, but there is a quick zap each time.

also double check where you go, because i had very possitive feedback from people that had others done.
But i wouldnt recommend mine. and make sure you bueaty theripist has been certified

I just wanted to write to see if anyone else has had anything similar and what they did about it.
