errrgh halloween

The things skinny people take for granted, I LOVE costumer parties but the bigger i get the more i loooathe them, it's sooo depressing not being able to get a cool halloween costume because nothing in a costume shop would ever fit and to buy one you have to do it online and it's so expensive and you never know whether it will look right.

bla
i should go as the blob

awww i know exactly how you feel

i've been wanting to have a costume party for soooo long but i never end up going through with it because i'll end up looking like a fat freak. i almost had the courage to go as a german bar wench one time! but chickened out.

maybe you should use next halloween as motivation for your weightloss :) you can do it!

and I was going to a 70s party and they were trying to get me to wear stuff from a different era because it was all they had that would fit. And it was a gaudy horrible costume which look like a mis-shapen tent.

I like your idea of the blob. LOL I'm sorry you were probably being sarcastic but i can see it would be easy.

I wore a purple dress to my daughter's wedding and told everyone I was a plum pudding.

So did anyone end up dressing up for halloween? If so what did you go as?

I had a flash of inspiration and went as a surgical nurse. Being a surgical veterinary nurse it wasn't the most imaginitive costume hehe but it worked a treat. Surgical gown, cap & mask with my stethoscope round my neck. I really didn't want to buy a costume because this time next year I'll be smaller so this was a perfect. Went to a Halloween party and then we went into town and I got stacks of attention and compliments (more than a lot my skinny friends who were wearing skimpy little costumes!)
My journey so far...
