Now Hayley you could have had us all fooled there for a minute!! Your new place sounds just lovely and so relaxing, I hope that you can be there for Christmas!!

Kate: yeah we did the 40* still hot meal thing and then we all thought this is nuts!! So we have the cold ones now, maybe a BBQ depending on the fellas!!! (we generally get the hot sticky feral weather Christmas day!)

Gosh I hope you manage to make the move to Denham in time for Christmas Hayley, it sounds perfect. When my husband and I travelled down the west coast, Denham was our favourite spot, we even looked at an old house that was for sale at that time on the coast.

Nah, there are the same amount of sharks there as anywhere on the top end of Australia. English Captain William Dampier gave Shark Bay its name back in 1699, he named a few area's up north including the township of Dampier

well, there is differing information on the subject of sharks in Shark Bay...... some say that it was named Shark Bay because of the huge amount of sharks in the area at time of discovery (which actualy turned out to be dolphins!), others say that there is a huge number of sharks in the area although no-one has been attacked and they don't come in close to shore.

My father-in-law watched a documentary on the area about a month ago, and said he couldn't believe the footage they had from the light aircraft, of the number of sharks in the bay! I wish he hadn't told me about that  , I preferred it when I thought they were dolphins!!!

It is a beautiful place though and would be a lovely town for our son to grow up.

Wow I didn't know it was a bay of sharks  they must go into the warm bay to feed off all the small fish that are there. I hope you don't go in the water there.

Oh Hayley I have just googled images of Shark Bay and it looks absolutely lovely!! You are going to be so relaxed and happy there!! The water looks beautiful and clear and just a gorgeous spot to relax. I didn't realise that it was Heritage Listed!! Enjoy the time that you are there. I may have missed it (and if I have please excuse my blondness! LOL) but are you actually moving there or just going for a holiday?? It looks like a nice place to bring up a young family.

Yes it is beautiful...like a holiday destination, you're right.

We will be moving there, hopefully before Christmas but definitely afterwards, if things get held up.

Connor is sick today...poor little guy. Been to doctor with him this morning and have to monitor him now for Meningitis!! Scary, but we have a letter to go to Princess Margaret Hospital (children's hospital), if things don;t get better. No, not again! He was very very ill as a baby and we spent lots of time in and out of there, so I hope we don't have to go back!
