Watched it on and off my hubby loves super tourers so he kept telling me what was going on whether I wanted to know or not.

Actually I barely watch it but always want Mark Skaife to win and he was out in the first 30 secs...grrr. He's a cutey!

Hubby predicted Lowndes would win about 1/2 way through so he was happy his crystal ball worked this time!

Oh my I didn't realise he died. The crash wash awful, high impact that he couldn't have steered out of as he was on the sandy bits...straight into that barrier. I saw the crash and then wandered off to do something else but my hubby never mentioned he had died. Paul Radicich (sp?) was his name. Terribly sad. They have so much safety around motor sports and luckily we don't see much of this but the sport is extremely dangerous none the less.

OK I'm completely on the wrong track. The crash I saw didn't involve any other cars but ploughed into a barrier and ended up on it's side. I never heard what happened to the driver but I thought it was Paul Radicich.

Mark Porter was the driver who died and the other chappy involved, David Clark, has regained consciousness. Still sad no matter who it is and awful for the families involved.

I am glad that Craig Lowndes won..he not only deserved the win, but he was very close to Peter Brock and quite fittingly his name will be the first on the Peter Brock Trophy!!

Yes, it was certainly emotional for him taking the cup.

My boyfriend sat there and watched it while I was studying. He yelled out to me every time there was a crash (which there seemed to be lots). It's sad somebody died :(

we had it on while washing walls.

Paul Radditch was ok. The death involved an earlier accident unfortunately.

Motorsports is one of the bloke's 'things'. He has a race car so there's often motorsports on. I got to drive the race car to the house the other day!! Very very cool. 8)

I'm driving it again today (I've been off sick since Thursday and now my voice has died). You get lots of weird looks driving a race car when you are female. Particularly if you give it a bit of a squirt :D !

I am the biggest TOM BOY. You will ever met. I sit there every second sunday night and watch F1 until about 1 in the morning.

I love my motorsport. My house is covered in Holden Racing Team Pictures and If you want to look at my messenger picture you will see my son dressed in all his Holden gear too. :)

I watched Bathurst from start to finish, I love Mark Skaife, and all the Holden Racing Team Boys.

Bathurst this year for my holden family was a very sad event. Having met Peter Brock a couple of times it was hard to believe that he wasn't going to be apart of the sport anymore.

I really dislike Craig Lowndes with a passion but under the circustances I'm not going to say anything bad...

But I would like to pay my respects to Mark Porters family it would have to be hard to know that everytime your partner goes racing there's that possiblity that something might go wrong.
Bless his family..
Expectations are only worth living up to if there your own!!!!!
