The Living End

Postby Garfield » Sun Oct 15, 2006 11:22 pm

I just went and saw the Living End! They were awesome! They sang nearly all of my favourite songs of theirs. Plus their support bands were awesome too... End of Fashion and some new band called the Red Riders. Great stuff!
I've never been to a big deal concert like that before... it absolutely blew my mind! Even though I was about a mile from the stage (not really, but I was in the very back row lol) it was still fantastic and incredibly LOUD! There were a whole heap of people who tried to crowd surf and some of them got kicked out (sucked in!)
It was so great! I'm still jumping up and down!
Whew... need to calm down so I can get some sleep and get up for uni...
Oh man... awesome :D

Hi garfield

mick (my fiance) is such a big fan of theirs. unfortunately with money being so tight at the moment he couldnt afford a night out at the concert. he always laughs though at how he used to see them and eskimo joe in small pubs around sydney when know one knew who they were. and he is amazed at how well theyre doing :)

im glad you had a nice time though, its nice ot have a night out isnt it?!

That's great Garfield. It is fantastic going to a big concert. Hubby and I try to go a few times a year but it is getting so very expensive now.

The living end do rock live. I'm not in to big crowds though so I tend to patronise smaller less well advertised gigs (like rage on the ranch which went off, despite only having a couple of hundred people, half of whom where band members)

The Falls Festival was awesome when I went a couple of years ago though. Pity you have to auction off your first born to get tickets these days
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
