I love eating apples, of course refuse chips, I found a news shop, which bake in the oven and has 70% less fat.

Peanuts - I love them. Fruits - apple and guavas and also boiled eggs and celery.

On my current diet I don't snack but I make it through morning tea and afternoon tea by sipping on mineral water. Keeps my fluids up as well as the carbonation keeping me feeling full until lunch! When I do snack I try to go for fruit, rice cakes and extra lite philli or salsa, carrots, weight watcher's hot chocolate, a cup of english breakfast tea with no sugar and skim milk or I use my popcorn machine and make up some popcorn with NO salt and NO butter just the popcorn-y goodness :mrgreen:

I love hommus with cut up veggies or rice crackers, bananas, dates, sesame snaps, soy yogurt..

I like to snack on diet jelly, diet yoghurt, homemade salsa (tomato, onion, herbs) and carrot, cucumber or celery sticks to dip. Fruit such as oranges, grapes and chopped up apple and air popped popcorn.

I always plan to have snacks during the day - otherwise I am too hungry after dinner, but also I dont eat nearly enough calories at the three meals alone!!

I always have 2 fruits and then after that it depends if I am eating big meals or small - I have healthyish baked goods in the freezer that I take out (banana or blueberry muffins :D soo good!) and most days I will have some yogurt with a bit of honey or some berries or even quick oats if I have lots of cals to play with! I am also trying to incorporate 10 almonds each day after I read how good nuts are for you (and delicious!) :)

I also eat dark chocolate, 85% is best, you don't tend to eat the whole block then. I also eat almonds.
Winter time I find it hard to eat fruit but just lately I have found some great mandarines so been eating more of them.

But how many almonds, sultanas and other nuts are is considered a "snack"? and does anyone have any yoghurts for snacks if so which is better to aid weightloss?? :?:

Chocolate for me i just help myself eating some snickers bars :( but i now start not to buy them and do some fresh fruit salads.

Fresh fruit, dried fruit, occasionally nuts, whole grain bread with olive oil, fresh raw veggies, basically anything that will fill me up with lots of fiber and not too many calories. (Agree about the bananas. Most other fruit is good, though.) Funny thing is, I find when I snack on something healthy I don't feel a need to eat as much, while munching down on junk I eat a lot more of it. I think my body may have a nutrition sense and keep wanting more when I'm not giving it very much that's real.

I have just moved to a carb free diet, (with a cheat day per week) so fruit and yoghurt which i used to have are gone...

Now I love the snack on the following -
Zucchini and Capsicum sticks with hummus or olive dip
Mini can of tuna
1 small handful brazil nuts
1 cookie and creme or orange choc LO CARB mini protein bar by Aussie Bodies (yum and only 100 cals with 2 g carb)
No sugar dark choc
boiled egg
3 slices of cold meat
Protein shake
All it takes is ALL you got!
