Exams suck!

Postby Mandie » Mon Nov 20, 2006 3:34 am

*sigh*

I'm not actually that stressed. I've prepared well, I've studied, and I'm reasonably confident (from doing practice exams) that I will pass my exam tomorrow.

So why can't I sleep?

I'm WIDE awake. If I lie down all I can think is different questions and then I have to get up and look up the answers so I know it!

Thing is - this happens EVERY exam period for me (since year 11 - 1999), and I do quite well in exams. So this is my method - don't sleep the entire night, show up, drink a red bull, do the exam on adrenaline, oddly enough, do WELL, go home, crash like an hour later..

This year, I have sugarfree red bull!

I'm rambling because I don't really have anything to say. It's 2am and I'm bored! 7 hours til the exam starts!

I'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow. I'm planning on going to the gym afterwards/tomorrow evening (may or may not do a class, haven't decided yet), and I'm very excited because I have gone TWO days now without exercise and I'm itching to do some!

Yeah.. so I have two more exams after this, Wednesday and Thursday, so expect more rambly/stressed/awake at random hours posts from me!

Exam done.

Exam totally passed! I know I did pretty well, so I'm stoked about that!

It was on women's and children's health, I knew that would be my easiest.

Two more exams to go! (wednesday and thursday).

I didn't sleep a wink, lasted all morning and finally crashed at 3pm, no gym for me I couldn't keep my eyes open! Will go tomorrow morning

Good luck with the remaining two exams Mandie. I'm sure you will do really well :D

I could never sleep much before an exam either. Just couldn't leave those books alone. I'd have to keep on studying and checking things right up until about 10mins before the exam time :P I sure slept after it was all over though

Well done Mandie. I'm sure the other 2 will be a breeze as well. Dont worry too much about the exercise this week. You can get stuck back into it after Thursday.

well done :) i know you will do really well in the next two exams, so just drink water, study a bit, eat healthy, take a nap during the day, study again and relax a bit either by soaking in the bath or watching a short movie.

i got to tired studying for my exams 2 weeks ago for uni, so i guess you have to also relax a bit.

take it easy, you will be fine :)
