Celebrity motivation/inspiration

Postby lookwhosperfectnow » Tue Dec 05, 2006 4:23 pm

Does anyone find motivation from celebrities???

Personally, Jessica Alba's body(especially in the movie INTO THE BLUE )is my ultimate inspiration. I have a very curvy body, and i know i will never be thin-thin, but Jessica Alba has a healthy, toned body with great curves. She is someone i can realistically look up to. She eats healthy and exercises, so its good to have someone who works for their body as inspiration, not someone who is naturally thin or starves themselves like nicole richie.

Does anyone else have a celeb pin up for motivation and inspiration?

Jessica Alba has a seriously great body. I also love Salma Hayek's figure.

My best inspiration though would be Monica Brant. She is a fitness model in the US and wow she has an awesome body that she has worked hard for.

mmmm.. Just watched Charmed last night (woo hoo it's back on!). Couldn't agree more with Alyssa Milano.

Let's see, who else, where do I start...

Gillian Anderson - X Files
Neve Campbell - Party of Five, The Craft
Angelina Jolie - Tomb Raider
Sarah Michelle Gellar - Buffy (although she is a bit skinny but worthy of mention anyway lol)
Isla Fisher - Home and Away (a long time ago!)
"Storm" from Gladiators
Naomi Robson - ex-Today Tonight
Vanessa Amorosi
Vanessa Amorosi
Vanessa Amorosi

I'm sure there are more, but maybe best to stop there

I have a weird one but I am motivated by Muhammad Ali, not only an amazing athlete but an amazing person too. Not so much as a weight loss but more a training motivation - hope that makes sense

Oh Masm you're so right. Muhammad Ali is a fantastic motivational personality. I am not a big boxing fan but I so admire him for his courage, determination and confidence. The documentary When We Were Kings is an excellent watch if you haven't seen it already.

I get motivation from celebrities even when the photos are fake as with these two below.
Hmmm.....maybe it'd be easier for me to lose weight by playing with photoshop for a couple of hours

I love Kim Catrall's (Samantha Jones on censored an the City) body. She's healthy and sexy. Love it!
