Good on you Mel. Glad for your sake it is out of your hair now. :D I know how difficult it can be being a Mum and studying at the same time, I am doing it too and it can be a juggling act. It is worth it in the long run though :!:

You must be so relieved that it is over and done with. When do you get the results?

You're right Judy, it is worth it in the long run! I am also studying with two young'uns and some days I want to give up.

Don't give up Lolli :!: It really is worth it in the long run. Mind you I think that if I give up sleeping I will get everything done that I need to do

Hey Judy, that's brilliant, why didn't i think of that. Giving up sleep would gain me at least 6 hours a day. I could study full time then!!

It's tough being a student/Mum, but the hardest part is knowing what to write under 'occupation' on forms. I couldn't decide what to put on my 2nd bubs birth certificate. I went with Mother cause I figured that was more important

Kate, the questions were about psychological disorders, health psychology, personality etc. Actually there was alot of interesting stuff about obesity and overweight. I think that's why I remebered alot of the material, it was quite interesting.

Next semester i have Quantative Analysis :(((

How gorgeous is that picture Kate? lol

Mel, what is Quantative Analysis? :? Sounds tricky!

I recently had to take a trip to the hospital and they asked what my occupation was. I said Mum, and the next question was employer, She said that doesn't matter as I am not employed, so I told her that if she really wants to write something she can put my husbands name down. She looked at me like I was mad and I had to tell her it was a joke. She still carried on like she didn't quite get it. My god it would be hard to get along in this world without a sense of humour!

Bianca, when I have said to people that I was a Mum in the past, I have actually had them turn around and ask "What is your real job?" I challenge them to spend every waking (and even not waking) hour with a 2 year old and tell me it is not a job.

Tony said to me last night, Lets face it, two under two, you wont ever go back to work.... needless to say I was fuming, what else am I studying for? So I can sit at home and do housework even when the kids are old enough for school? Poo head. As much as I love them I can't wait to join adulthood again. As mel said, it is so much easier doing a paid job!

So Judy... what is your real job? LOL! I was up last night until 2 and then up again at 5 with both boys (little so and so's!). They say motherhood is the most rewarding thing in the world... but surely it would be nicer if the *censored censored*'s would sleep!

The upside of last night was jumping on the exercise bike as I was so over watching telly. I even finished off 1 module of my course. I didn't (and I am really proud of this) grab any food, as that is usually my down fall. There is something disturbingly satisfying about grabing food in the middle of the night.

Oh Lolli, paid work is much easier but I think we forgot something - we will still be Mum's anyway! 2 jobs for the price of 1!!

Midnight snack aren't my thing luckily, but all day ones are

I'm so lucky with their sleep though. My bubba (3 months) sleeps from 6:30 or 7pm until anywhere between 6 and 8am!! I wake him at 10:30pm for a feed, but he drops of again no probs :D

Lolli, my real job doesn't exist at the moment.

I was a stay at home mum for 16 years, and then my husband walked out on me, leaving me with no "work skills", so I am now studying business at home full time (takes some discipline), as well as being a single parent to my two youngest (9 and 3). When I have finished my courses I want to start a mobile book-keeping business so I can still be there for my kids.
