im a quarter way through it now. i find it fascinating. harry is definately not my favourite character  cant stand the guy! but it has been a compelling read so far and i liked that fact that it didnt take ages to get into a plot, it was like BAM! and all the action starts

Just another Harry Potter fan

Postby Miss Subaru » Sat Jul 28, 2007 4:08 am

Hi, could anyone tell me what it is about harry potter that is so amazing? I love the books and when i get a hold of one i would just sit and read all day long, just can't stop reading!

My friends ask me what it is about potter that i like so much but i don't really have a good answer just know that when i start reading one of the books i can't stop!

Still i'm a little slow right now just getting starting on the harry potter and the half-blood prince.
Wish me good luck :) i will probally getting stucked in it and then i will wake up tomorrow don't want to go to work just wanting to finish reading my potter book :P

I am enjoying this last book but I am so tired at night, that I fall asleep after a few pages, but the weekend is here so I may have some more time and hopefully will get well into it this afternoon but you are right it starts with a bang and you are into it straight away

I've only ever cried once before when reading a book. Harry made me cry twice! Once about half way through and another time near the end... I still get teary just thinking about it

Can't believe I didn't jump onto this thread sooner!!! I finished the newest Harry book last weekend and loved it!!! I won't spoil it for those who haven't finished reading it but be prepared for twists and turns!! No idea how they're going to condense it down for the movie though

hey bec someone mentioned that she has started writing other books (not harry potter ones of course!) but she has a great imagination and she is one of those authors who writes because they love it, not because they need money or anything.
