I can't believe State Of Origin is on again already.. I swear it was only last week that it was on for last year. ;)

I am backing Qld as I always do, but you never know. We don't do anything for it down here in Adelaide, we don't even get to watch it until some ungodly hour of the night/morning. But both hubby and I are big fans of it!

State of Origin AFL is soon isn't it? Doesn't matter because almost all of the WA team are from the eastern states anyway!!!!!

it's basically Vic v the rest of the country (which is basically Adelaide, Port, Western Bulldogs and Freeo - I think I've gooten them all?)
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"

thanks for letting me know. Like I'm a footy freak with the NRL but have no interest when it comes to AFL. But i am still suprised that they hold a state of origin.

it's nowhere near as 'big' as the NRL version - the AFL has kinda mini themes throughout the year. Last round I think it was indigenous week. There's also your grudge matches where old foes play each other and heritage rounds (where they wear the old style guernseys), oh and Anzac Day of course.

Thanks for filling me in on the info. I didn't think it would be big as NRL as I have never heard of it before

That was the most boring State of Origin game I have ever seen, even the cround wasn't getting into the game I don't even think that I will watch next I was so dissipointed with it. I'm glad that I didn't pay to watch the game this time round other wise I would be wanting my money back
