well i said i wasn't going to watch it and tonight when it started i was cleaning out my fridge and freezer and about to go and have a bubble bath afterwards when the show came on. it was quite sad to hear the stories of these young kids. the thing that striked me was... THEY ARE YOUNG. in so many ways. i am looking forward to seeing them on their journeys and hope they find what theyre looking for.

I watched it too! :D I agree I found it very sad. I could relate to some of the things some of the teens were saying...I felt like that alot of the time when I was a teenager- and it sucked!

I am so happy now I am healthy etc, and it sadens me to see people so unhappy, unfit and just generally giving up on life!

I am going to watch the show as well. I am looking forward to seeing the teens not only change there appearance but also there minds as well!

I quite liked the show. I feel sorry for them as they are just teenages. I had to laugh though at the start when one of the fathers I can't remember which one tried to cry it looked so fake. It was so funny.

I only watched bits and peices - but I thought it was so crap - they spent more time on the bloody love triangles than anything else and that just s**t me.... I don't think I will be watching it again....

LOL carmen thats what i meant when i said they were so 'young'. i just kept shaking my head. but i think that the relationship forming is all part of the emotional side of being obese and its quite interesting to watch the kind of respect or lack of which they have for themselves and seeing whether that changes or not over time. hmm...

LoL yeh the whole love triangle thing was lame...but it was interesting to see why that guy was latching on to the girls so much. He was saying he "doesnt want to be alone" etc etc and it shows how underlying issues of the subconcious filter through with strange actions/behaviours.

I think its good the camp has a "no r/ship" policy. It is definately a distraction, and what the kids need to learn is that you have to do it BY YOURSELF however with the support of others.

I am looking forward to the transformation...some of the teens were morbidly obese and its scary.
