oh no kate! although, maybe its a winter thing, because I have noticed that at this time last year AND the year before, a few of my friends/family members have had big breakups!!

its entirely possible joel and i will have our first fight this weekend. he is a mad adelaide crows supporter and I am a mad west coast eagles supporter (AFL) and they are playing each other this weekend!! we havent decided to watch it together or seperately yet.. but we'll see how we go!

Aww Jen sorry to hear that you feel that way!!

I guess I am one of the lucky ones who has an extremely loving and faithful hubby.....

News of people breaking up and divorcing etc often comes in spits and spats.....although it can be upsetting just remember to be there and lend an ear and a shoulder if they need it......

Hehehehe Mandie I guess there is going to be a good ol' fight in your household over the weekend....but just remember the fun bit after the fight!!

I find that winter is the worst for a lot of couples actually - that and Christmas (when ppl are freaking out over lack of money)

Ally I too can proudly say my man is 100% faithful and loving. (To be honest, I think an affair would be too much like hard work for him hehehe)

Kate - I rather suspect that people these days are a little more likely to throw in the towel than work through stuff (or just bear it, as was often the case,) than they would have been say 50 years ago. I just hope that all of your friends can find their inner peace. Seperation is stressful and demoralizing, especially from a very long term relationship.

I didnt see Jen's post either :? and I didnt delete it :D

I think I am joining the break up bandwagon today.... Actually its been coming for a long time - just today I have been pushed and pushed and exploded this morning

My kids need someone who is happy with where/who/how she is as their mother - my current situation isnt letting me be happy in any respect really! Some days I find myself resenting them because of their father and that isnt right!

Bring on single motherhood I say :D

I'll keep you updated :)
