I have a Tanita, which seems pretty reliable (except it tells me I am 15 years older then my chronological age, causing me to hate it!). I am not so sure about its bells and whistle tho - the body fat reading changes every hour, as does the water levels in my body.

i have a cheap set i got from woolies for 20 bucks- they seem to do the trick however if i had the money at the time i would have probably brought the metal weight watchers scales. ive heard bad things about the glass weight watchers ones though. theyre more expensive at about 80 bucks.
