yesterday morning i woke up and went to the loo (damn 3 litres of water before bedtime) and mick had already gone to work and there was a yellow post- it note on the toilet cistern- took me a while to adjust my sleepy eyes to what it said:

Love you very much Babe xoxox

everyone say 'awwww' ...

when i said to him on the phone 'thanks for the note' he said that he wrote it before leaving and that he put it on the toilet because he said thats the first place i go in the morning haha. he knows me well :) and it brightened my day :)

awwwwwwwwww.....that is so cute. Mick is such a sweetheart. :D

Little things like that means a whole lot more than extravagant gestures once in a blue moon. I bet you can't get the smile of your face now.

hahaha I should proof read my post before I reply. All the appalling typos I've made.

Nope Kate. I like my secretary; she's efficient and doesn't get offended when I tell her to do something. When I first started working for the company a couple of years back I had to share one and she was so rude and wouldn't do the things I asked right away and would need constant reminding. She didn't like the fact that I was younger than her telling her what to do. Lucky I don't have her anymore.

micks receptionists are a pain in the backside too. they never do anything theyre supposed to like go to the fax machine and take the fax that has just come through, they leave it there. they dont answer phones half the time, they cant take messages properly. i really feel sorry for him. he is also in a law firm type environment and the last thing he needs is to be behind on anything because they cant do their job properly
