i dont necessarily agree with that- i know in my case and ive noticed a few women on this forum mention that their partners are quite thin and can eat whatever they want and wont put on weight LOL mick is 50kg exactly and can eat whatever he wants and wont put weight on. i was attracted to him for other reasons not his stature or weight.

my bloke often comments that he HAS to eat lots of sugar, cream, beer etc just to stop fading away  which would be funny if it wasn't true

his catch cry is "eat more fat, eat more salt, eat more sugar!" in a sing song voice.

And one wonders how exactly they controlled for societal influences - eg, you will get together with people in a similar social demographic, and these demographics tend to have greater or lesser tendencies toward obesity. They did touch on social groups - easier to make friends with other obese people - and vaguely on the effects of BECOMING like your partner in terms of the relationship not being related to length of relationship, but still, I'd want to read the full study (I never trust media reports of scientific studies, they usually miss the important bits)
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"

I'm with you Kate I don't agree with that at all. & I was attracted to my partner other reason too not because of his weight aswell. I think that's rediculas.

My hubby has always been skinny he has a fast metabolism & cant gain any weight even with weight gain shakes. He has been to the doctors to see if there was anything to help him gain weight & there was nothing there the doctor told him there was only products to make him lose weight not to gain weight. Lucky censored can eat what ever he want & not gain any weight but as soon as he get's sick he droppes a huge amount of weight.
