Woohoo! Isn't it GREAT when centrelink owe YOU money! lol. We got a fair bit back too as I got my $600 per child thing from centrelink(I have 3 kids), and a fair bit back from the child care rebate, it was also my last year to claim the $500 baby bonus.

All ours went to our wedding though!

Kate, my DP got hit by the medicare levy too, they took $800. Most of what we got back was mine lol. We're thinking we better take out some health insurance this year!

We did pretty good with our refund this year too :)

Havent touched any of it yet - which is amazing for me lol (last year it went on bills and just crap :? )

But we are going to Brisbane this weekend to watch some footy so I can only imagine how much I could possibly spend lol (however, my plan is to buy mostly clothes for the kids not myself)

My mum and stepdad got hit hard by the tax man this year :( 4500 debt... Because his employers didnt take tax out of some of the components of his pay.. It sucks when it wasnt even his fault!!

bloddy hell that suck's

I'm pretty stocked last year I recieved about 3,500 so I was expecting somthing around that mark or lower but an extra 1000 bucks i'm not going to complain about that. I hate anything to deal with centrelink but if they owe me money that's a bonus.

I'm still waiting on one group certificate
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

I hate that, last year we did our tax the same day as you do, but there was a 3 week difference, on arrival in the mail, we though that they were lost in the mail.
