Oh such a great idea Bella, how sweet!

I just remember last year I got him this silver photo frame with a pic of us in it and had it engraved and I also got him a wallet.

When his friends, etc asked what I got him he only told them about the wallet, because I think he was a bit embarrassed by the sentimental gift, being a "bloke" lol, so I just wanted to get him something thoughtful that he also wouldnt be embarrassed by, lol.

Yeah I was going to take the cake to dinner, and write happy birthday on it, the only problem is that everyone will be eating the cake I made and thats embarrassing! Lol. The whole family will be there. Whats if they dont like it? I know Jim likes it though so I guess thats all that really matters...

Thanks so much for all the ideas, I might keep the scrap book in mind so he can have the cool pressie and sentimental pressie as well. Im just not sure if he appreciates that sort of stuff as much as I do. Ive made cards with pics of us collaged on them, etc... but i dont know if he cares that much. He always says im too obsessed with pics, lol. I think I would like him to do it for me more than he would like me to do it for him  (But I know he never will! Typical bloke, lol)

I was also thinking, if I get him the bike ride, that I would buy him one of the professional photos taken and put it in a frame for him, I think that would be cool and not too girly and sentimental! Lol. 8)

it's a great idea. If he is worried about stacking it, my advice (as the partner of a race car driver) is GO SLOW on the first few laps. You might feel like a tosser driving slow on a racetrack, but that way you will get to know the road, blind corners, sharp turns, odd cambers (sp?). Then speed up slowly each lap.

Oh and be sure to factor in petrol cost. Racing round a track uses petrol...FAST
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"

Yeah my bf is pretty sensible, Im sure he would take it slow at first until he got used to it. I remember when he first bought the bike, he'd had a 250cc racing bike before it but then jumped up to a 750cc racing bike! I was so scared for him! He was nervous too so for the first few weeks he took it easy until he was used to it.

Im sure the boy can pay for the petrol seeing as i'll be paying for the day, lol. Its better with bikes though, because they dont cost as much to fill up and dont use as much petrol as cars! That was his excuse for getting one  He's really just a big kid inside that loves his toys

Sounds like fun Ali. He'll love it. I was thinking maybe a nice cosy dinner afterwards and he'll probably need a massage....

Hehe, ooh... how romantic! Maybe a nice candle lit bath and then a massage! Hehe.

He should be giving me the massage though, hes the one thats done a massage course! He used to, but it wore off as the relationship progressed. I think he was just trying to impress me at first, now he doesnt bother
