Yes, I do think... Take a look at your face. From what I can see, as it gets thinner you look more and more like your sister. You're both cute though 8)

When people pull out the camera? Look at her pics... First pic, she actually pulled out the camera herself ;)

But still. The better you think you look, the easier it becomes to be in a photograph.

I think it's easier to be in photos if you feel confident. :D

Hi Stacey,

wow........wow.........wow!!! I am about 170cm tall and currently I weigh 95.7kg, so approx the same as when u started your journey. You have done an amazing job! You should be so proud of yourself.

May I please ask, how did you go about losing the weight? And how did you stick with it. What are your best tips??

Thanks.

Thank you wheelndeal77 and sassyshell :D

wheelndeal77,
I've lost the weight by following the WeightWatchers points and now Satisfaction program. I attend the weekly meetings and use Unlimited on their website (track my points online). Paying about $60 a month for the program keeps me motivated.
I use my home gym (weights), go jogging (including running up and down stairs), use my Billy Blanks DVD and i've just bought a skipping rope.

I've had alot of slip ups along the way but I try and stay positive. If I eat something unhealthy or over indulge I just get back on track with my next meal and make it healthy.
One of the biggest things I had to teach myself was not to put myself down when I made the wrong food choice.

My biggest tip would be to just stick with it. There will be times when you feel like giving up but don't. You are worth it and you do deserve to be healthy. :D

A few months prior to Christmas I tried the Weight Watchers points system, at first I lost about 7.1kg but then I got bored with it and wasn't sticking with counting points like I should. It's so hard with 2 little kids to make time for yourself as most of you Mothers on here would understand. And then, financially I just couldn't afford to pay the $60 per month for meetings plus extra on food for myself so I had to quit. I gained a few kg's and then my parents offered to pay for Lite n Easy for me. I lost about 5kg on that...and once again started to get bored and started not sticking to it 100%. Christmas party time came around and I was partying on weekends and being fairly healthy during the week, which means no weight loss.
Went to Mum and Dad's over Christmas for 2 weeks and gained 4kg. Ugh!
I don't have the inclination to do Lite n Easy again, or Weight Watchers for that matter. I have lost weight numerous times over the years via Jenny Craig, Gloria Marshall, Weight Watchers, and this Last Chance diet I found through a lady at work. The Last Chance one was a lady who ran a weight loss group from home and had her own menu made up etc...after doing a nutrition degree. It worked the best for me and I still have the menus etc..even though it was 6yrs ago or so now since I did it.
I think after all these years of doing all these diets, I have the knowledge to know what and how much I should be eating to lose the weight and I know that I must start exercising. In previous years I have lost the weight without exercise, but this time...after having 2 kids and being 31yrs old now...I know I need exercise. So I figure, if i put into practise what I already know about food and force myself to begin an exercise regime, I can do this!!!
Seeing your photos Stacey has really motivated me, you look amazing and so happy. I want to feel that again.

Thanks so much for your reply.
