Well, I guess there is always that pivotal photo that sets you on your change of lifestyle. For me, every photo from the past 10 years has been like that, and if there was any way to avoid being photographed, I would do it.
Last year I went home to visit my family in Canada. First time they had seen me in 9 years, and althought I desperately wanted to see them I also hated the fact that I was so much bigger than they had last seen me. My Dad has always been critical of overweight women, this was hard on me growing up and made it extremely difficult to just "enjoy" going home.
Anyway, while I was there of course i coudn't avoid the photos, and this is one of me oversahdowing a moose at the Colombian Icefields in Canada.. This isn't the pivotal photo, but it sure as hell didn't thrill me to see it, either! I did used to have a neck at one time in my life but sadly, it is now missing!! lol
The second photo is of me taken 2 nights ago, after 7.75kg's gone. I can't see any difference but friends on facebook say they can *shrugs*. I feel different though, and that is all that matters.
I will post once a month progress shots (to coincide with my measurements session at JC) Thanks for looking, and I hope to aspire to some of the fantastic results I have seen here.

Changing my life, one ounce at a time.I started this journey on Feb 2 2010 and though I would like to be a size 5 by June, I am prepared to accept that it might take a bit longer
