I love before and after photos. My sister use to pass on her old Weight Watchers magazines and I use to pour over the before and after photos. They show you what is possible and that radical change CAN happen.
Towards the end of my journey, there was a magazine on sale with a supplement of before and after photos of various people. It hit me then that I had lost more weight than every one featured in the magazine supplement. It was only then that the penny dropped that what I had done was not something out of the ordinary.
Yeah...6' 2" I wish! If that was so then the 153.7kg I was carrying around wouldn't have looked as bad!
I'm 5' 6" in the old money and weighing in at about 69kg in that photo. The other photo I have no idea what I weighed there. There is a very good chance that I actually weighed far more than my starting weight. As a pre-test before starting on this weight loss journey I actually cut back on my fizzy drink consumption and my greasy crumbed cheese sausages (not sausage - sausages!) morning tea fest!

Goodness only knows what the elephant weighed in then!
