My half success

Postby tecky » Thu Feb 14, 2013 11:53 pm

Firstly, the stories and journeys of everyone here is really inspiring and encouraging! Thank you for being brave enough to share!
I joined this forum two years ago, began my journey and have since given up many many times because the results were so slow but I'm finally half way to where I want to be.
I've also given up the idea of dieting since I've always failed with 'diets'. Anyway, here is my journey so far :-)

You guys are awesome inspiration!

Welcome back. Remember it should be viewed as a healthy lifestyle not a diet.
You look great, keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Love seeing change! Good work so far and good on you for getting off that diet mental trap. It is a life style change and not a quick fix. Excellent!...now see it through! :D

Looking good! 8)

It doesn't seem that much left to lose. Careful - you want to be healthy and trim...not skeletal!

Wow you have shrunk.....just make sure you are eating healthy. Make sure you have enough calcium, protein, vegs and fruit. Nutrition is important.
Congratulations and i bet you feel great.

Thanks for the encouragement =) Actually, i was losing weight more slowly when i was "dieting" and trying to only eat certain types of food i.e. Non-junk food items. But then i read a book about listening to your body's need and ate only when hungry and stopped when i started to feel full - AND i eat whatever the heck i want which is great and i was losing weight more quickly without feeling hungry and like i was missing out. Plus the gym helps. So if anyone wants to know my story - i'd be happy to share/help! :) Thanks again for the acknowledgement and support. It really helps =)
