You have done an AMAZING job Donk and I know how great you must be feeling.

People are right that you should look into having your story in a magazine or on TV. I entered a Slimmer of the Year competition for Slimming and Health magazine last year and became a finalist. It was SUCH fun to go over to Sydney for the makeover and photo shoot. I was also on Today Tonight, the Nine news and A Current Affair (a couple of times). It was exciting to be a 'celebrity' for a little while. The main reason I wanted to do it though was to 'get my face out there' and show people that it COULD be done. Your story would be wonderful for lots of people to read and be inspired by, so it would be great if you looked into that. I don't mean to plug the Slimming and Health magazine, but that is one of the ones that you can get your story into and you don't have to have followed any particular program. They just like different sorts of success stories.

I look forward to seeing you in the media one day.

Zelma

Wow, don't know what to say really, thanks for all the comments ladies

And Zelma, I think I may just look into that. The main reason I want to do something like this is for other people to be inspired that you don't need to go on any program, a lot of it is just mental, and you can win the battle. I have inspired a few of my friends and relatives already and would love to be able to do the same with many others.

Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion Zelma, without this post I probably wouldn't have known about the comp or entered.

Thanks again!
