You look so great! And thank you for the motivation... I am getting married at the end of 2008 (just got engaged a month ago) and I am 70 right now... I'd love to look as good as you at my wedding!

Thanks again everyone for the positive response and lovely compliments  :)

Donk: Another geelong-ite hey? Who woulda thunk it :D

Puffer: You can definately do it! When we set our wedding date I joined a gym began training 3times a week, the problem at that point was my portion sizes. I was getting fitter but not thinner. I ended up losing a couple of kilos doing that, but nothing dramatic. When I started following the principles of eating from body for life (bodyforlife.com) AND combining it with cardio and strength training I lost the 12kgs in 12weeks. So you have plenty of time. And you'll look fabulous no matter what weight you are of course because you'll be radiantly happy. But being at goal weight is the icing on the cake :) Goodluck with that :)

Hi all, thought I'd add a clearer pic of 'the end of my journey'. Fell off the weightloss bandwagon for a little bit after the wedding, didn't put on any weight scales wise, but lost some tone, back into a more focused exercise regime now. Not too hardcore because we are trying to put a bun in the oven. :D Hope you are all tracking well.

you look gorgeous!!! don't hurt yourselves trying your baking skills
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"
