How are you going to spend today?

We're going to have a couple of friends come over and have a bbq lunch.
Then tonight we'll grab a bottle of bubbly and face our outdoor chairs toward Perth city and watch the firework skyshow.
My kids are going into the city tonight by the swan river to watch the huge show.

Sorry to hear both of you are working. I feel guilty that I'm having such a slack relaxing day.

Fay you are really gonna have to get some equal time out like your husband does each month. It's definitely your turn to relax and put your feet up. If I lived near you we'd be going away for a week here and there just as often.

big hugs

Hi Linda,

A Travel Auction is advertised on TV, it's usually a weekend's accomadation somewhere. They tell you how much it normally costs then you ring up with a bid on how much you want to pay.

The one I bid on was for 2 nights accomadation with an extra free night if you travel between certain months and also included free continental breakfasts each morning and a complimentary game of Golf. Normally valued at $399 and I got it for $220. :D

The bloke and I went up north for a few days(which is why I haven't been on for a while). In the arvo of Aus day we went swimming at the beach near mum and dads then had a BBQ at the bloke's sisters. Then we spent the next couple of days at the bloke's parents where we got his newest car (spare parts for the race car) going and went to visit his nan who is unfortunately on her last legs with cancer.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
