This Little Piggy Went To Maccas ...

Postby Lush Gal » Fri Oct 26, 2007 3:54 pm

And KFC, and pizza, and snitzel and hot chips, and sweeeeeeets, and wine.

URGH - I feel DISGUSTING.

I WAS doing a detox, but only lastet one week. Am so disgusted in myself, I lost 2kg in that week and whilst I was a bit peckish and edgy from lack of caffeine I felt good.

The last fortnight however is a blur of bad eating, zilch exercise and feeling CRUDDY.

I've put back on 1.5kg + of the 2kg I lost.

Well that's my boo hoo moment. Back on the bandwagon I guess.

I'm off to Jazz in The Vines with a girlfriend tomorrow. We are on a bus trip so there will be nibblies and booze galore.

SO - the plan of attack is to get stuck into my housework now (it's almost 3pm) then hit the gym before (a healthy) dinner (with only a SMALL quantity of wine) and to also eat well / exercise on Sunday.

Wish me luck!!!!

Hey Kate,

Yeah the detox took an earth shattering nose dive, I guess I just didn't have the commitment mentally.

But, i am trying hard to scrape my way back to healthy eating. Not punishing myself with extreme eating habits (either way, ie super restrictive or super bingeing).

I'm hopong to soon come to the realisation that food in moderation is the key and eating what my body NEEDS rather than what my mind CRAVES is the key.

I just feel like such a failure. sigh, enough pity party!

never mind we are allowed to slip up and have something other than healthy food every once in awhile. we are human after all and feeling guilty about it will just make your feel worse :)

Well, I kept you guys all in mind as I sat in the sunshine at Jazz in the Vines.

I ate rather ok, I did have a meat pie for dinner BUT it was a relatively tasty gourmet steak one (was $5!). I was REALLY good with the wine, had only a few glasses and feel great for it.

Today I have been a bit naughty but am all set now for a healthy tea and to get back onto the bandwagon tomorrow at the gym.

Thanks so MUCH to you all - you are truly a great tool for weight loss!!!
