Is it possible to lose weight but not notice it??

I've lost 5kg since my heaviest point and to be honest I barely notice. My clothes are fitting better, I've lost my double chin and my partner points out that my tummy is smaller but overall I feel exactly the same as when I started. I think it's because of mental conditioning. When you get used to identifying with a certain weight it takes a hell of a lot of evidence before you can reprogram yourself to feeling thinner.
