Who Uses Calorie King?

Postby Lush Gal » Mon Oct 29, 2007 2:46 pm

Hey all,

I just saw that Calorie King's food diary / chat and forums are now all pretty much free! (I paid $29.95 a month only a few years back!).

Does anyone use this site? They have live chat, which could be fun to catch up with?

I don't use the forums/chat, but I use CalorieKing daily to input my food and exercise... it's a fantastic way of keeping track, and beats counting calories MYSELF!

Well I'm quite liking CK. I just did 50 mins on the treadmill and burnt 280 cals - according to CK it's 400!

Hmmmm ......

I've had a look, did it a few days. It's very good procrastination, which ain'treally a good thing during exam period... But I decided to day I should try and do it a while, since I'm struggling a bit.

Hi guys just a quick question about this site...

I have been using it to add my daily carb intake up and it seems to be pretty good... but today I entered an atkins protein bar in and it said it have 15g of carbs when on the back of the paclet it said it had 2g of carbs.

What would you be more inclined to believe the packet or calorie king? I would have thought that the packet would be right for consumer reasons...

The packet.. someone could have easily made a mistake inputting data into calorieking. Just make it a custom food and put the data in yourself :)
