Well .... where do I start? I have yo-yoed my way up to 76kg (heaviest) am now at 69kg after a couple of months on TF (have been off TF for a couple of months and maintained but not lost).
My goal = 55kg (this was my weight around 6 years ago and it was easy to maintain with regular exercise and a healthy diet).
Now let's see ... this year so far (since hitting my highest weight in July) I have had a 6 week chest infection (ended up in hospital), a massive in-grown hair (turned into a cyst and I needed antibiotics) and now a UTI (again antibiotics).
So in just over three months my body has been on 3 courses of nasty antibiotics.
Well, it's time to get real.
Drinking so much (up to a bottle of wine most nights)
Sneaking naughty food (secret drive thru runs etc)
Justifying yet another poor food choice ("takeaway for tea?") ISN'T helping.
SO - MY POOR BODY IS SAYING - Help!!! And my pledge is to ....
1. Drink plenty of water
2. Exercise most days
3. Eat 2 serves of fruit every day
4. Eat 5 (MINIMUM) serves of vegies every day
5. Cut out soft drinks (diet or otherwise)
6. Make healthy choices about the food I put into my body - pick natural and unprocessed
7. Drink moderately (a few glasses of red on a Fri / Sat and maybe one other day a week)
These changes I know I can do. I used to live like this and was fit, healthy, slim and energetic.
This terrible UTI has me off the booze and onto lots of water, and I'm going to go for a walk this afternoon (just a gentle one) and have already had a healthy breakfast ....
Anyways, enough waffling - just wanted to document my thoughts - thanks guys!
