31.6 compared to 34.7 when I started.

I've been looking at body fat calculators on the web, anyone found a half reliable one, have looked at a few but its fluctuated between 30 and 40 odd percent. TIA

Mine is 26. According to everthing I've read my weight should be between 65 - 81kg (81 would give me a BMI of 25) but have always set my goal at 85kg, so going by the BMI calculator I'll always be overweight.

Yeah.. it usually is wrong for men though, particularly if you exercise a lot, becuase you have a greater muscle mass. so BMI of 26 is fine!

My BMI is 33.

But looking at some other posts, my waist is 91cm, and other people have a lower BMI but a bigger waist measurement, so I guess that might show that it may not always the most accurate indicator

My BMI is currently 22.9. I'm lucky in that the reccomended weight for my height seems to correlate pretty closely with when I feel healthy and happy with my size.

Okay, so mine's 28 lol overweight, i'll be normal when i reach 75 kilos which will be in 12kilos time :P

I am pretty muscular though. 70-75 is kind of my goal anyway so i figure its about right.

PS i lost another kilo! woohoo!

Weight (in kg) divided by Height (in metres) squared..

So for me, my weight is 119.1kg, height 1.71m

therefore 119.1/(1.71x1.71) = 119.1/2.9241 = 40.7! (ergh)

best way is to get an online claculator  that way all you need is to know your height and weight.

http://bmi.emedtv.com/bmi/how-to-calculate-bmi.html

that shows you the mathematics of it

OR if you put your trust in technology
