wow the show just finished here in Perth (we're 3 hours behind some of you other states)
Gosh it was great. I'm feeling all enthusiastic to join them in their dialy 3 hour vigorous workouts and then my back went out tonight from all the gardening I did today. I guess I'll just have to walk gently or something or do some laps in the pool tomorrow.

I did notice how nearly everyone was emotionally driven, it should give us some interesting viewing.

Day two.
All that exercise they did and then they were sick, it must have been so tough on them. It was pretty hard to judge how many calories were in that slave for a day food competition.
I don't know how they're gonna manage not eating any fruit for the first 2 or 3 weeks
My favorite contestants so far are Big Wal, Fiona and Kristie.
It was nice to see Jillian have a big heart and hug Kristie when she told her about her miscarriage.

Yes I am really enjoying it, it has a bog brother feeel about it don't you think
but I am sure we will all learn lots from it,mainly we all need to cure ourselves on the inside before we can make changes on the outside, I think that message comes across loud and clear anyone else feel the same

Very much so pam.I think those trainers are great as they have a really good understanding of where these peopkle are comming from.I think they realise that in order to fix their problem they have to fix the emotional side also.

I am really enjoying the show so far and I am sure I will learn alot more about myself as I believe I can identify with some of the contestants and their issues with food.

I love the host aswell but is it just me or does she remind you of grettle???????

I have been watching it too. It is very inspirational. I like how before some ads they'd put up some useful information, like how much exercise it took to burn off a medium french fries.

Last night Jillian said there are three things you need to know if you are going to be successful in losing weight.
1. How many calories you can eat in a day.
2. How many calories your body burns in a day without exercise.
3. How many calories you need to burn to lose a kilogram.

What she didn't give us was the answers. I've never been one to count calories but would be interested in working it out and seeing how I am doing. Does anyone know how to work out No.2 and 3????
