Zanical??

Postby Siana-leah » Mon Feb 13, 2006 11:03 pm

I checked up on the adds on TV about boosting your diet
(http://www.boostyourdiet.com.au)

(Look up Zanical on search engine if you want to know specifics)

An option that the pharmacist gives you is Zanical ($130 odd a month)
I know about what it does and symptoms.
It stops 30% of the fat you eat being absorbed by the body so it passes through without taking hold.
Symptoms are messy if you have a high fat diet. (good motivator to stick to low fat).

Has anyone tried the drug? Can anyone tell me if it would be a bad idea or a good one?

Thanks, Siana

HI there

Yes I have tried this drug and yes you are right the results can be a bit messy lol..... I would say if it works well all well and good but for me personally it was just an expensive exercise that was a waste.
I believe there is only one way to loose weight and that is by changing your lifestyle and the way you think and feel. Its something that has to be done in order to achieve permenant results. Its hard and I will always have to be vigilant but it is so worth it.

Cheers!

Natalie. :)

Hey thanks for the information.

Im leaning more towards not using it...its expensive and if i dont do it right it will be a waste of money.

My mother is on them at the moment and forked out a large sum of money for them. She's thinking they are a huge waist of money now - she's been on them for 3 weeks and has not lost anything!

The best way is to try to reduce the amount of fat in your diet and to up the exercise - easier said than done - especially for me!

Good luck with it all.
