I've been dieting for nearly 18 months now and in that time I've tried a dozen different diets and all work to some degree. As long as what your doing seems logical, reasonable and not overly restrictive try out anything you can think of. Dieting if you need to loose a lot gets boring so changing diets is kinda fun, also different diets teach you different things. Over months I've tried :
Lite'n'easy - taught me portion control and helped teach/shrink my appetite.
Optislim Shakes - I learnt I missed chewing, great for short term but not a lifestyle change
Calorie Counting (Calorieking)- a good overall approach and guided me with food choices.
SITL 12 week challenge - got me eating 6 small meals a day and to recognise the roles of protein and carbs
