It seems to be on the plastic surgery TV shows a bit at the moment. I don't have heaps of knowledge, I think it's only really for quite new stretch marks, you know the reddy coloured ones, and I think it helps them to not be so noticeable.

Oh that kind of sucks. My friend seems to think it will work on all stretch marks because she's gettin a tattoo removed and the person doing that by laser told her about it. I'll see if it works on hers :P

Yeah see if it works on your friend before out laying all that money & get more information & the facts first before actually doing it. But if you do go ahead with laser streatch mark removal goodluck I've never heard of it before, so i hope it works for you.

well i've always hated my stretchmarks more than the weight itself - because your stuck with them! i'm going to wait until i've lost the extra kilos before i try anything like that. I figure laser would be better then surgery but i'll see what happens :)

Hi CC,

A woman in my mothers group had laser surgery on her stretch marks post pregnancy. To be honest she really didn't have that many and they were still slightly visible 6-8 months later. I know that the $$ was a lot approx $250.00 per 15 mins of treatment (for her). Her doctor said you get better results on newer marks. I've had mine for AGES :?.

I got heaps with my first child and sadly my doctor told me there is NO cure for stretchmarks, but who ever discovers one will be a VERY RICH person indeed .

Best of luck, would be wonderful to get rid of them FOR GOOD!

yeah that kind of sucks. I figure before i do anything i should wait until i have kids lol. Because i'd get rid of them and gain a whole lot more!!

i saw that you could get them filled with collagen or u could get them kind of lasered off.

maybe i should just learn to live with them. Fake tan covers them a bit and i use the stuff like there's no tomorrow 8) (makes u look skinnier too muhahahah)
